Making art is a focal activity for me, which gathers my thinking and doing, it encourages me to move on and play on unfamiliar fields that I would not otherwise dare to enter.

My art is often based on something that interests me, a theme, the red thread that draws me to work with my art. Violence and suffering have been a major theme in my work for a long time, and I believe that it will remain with me at some level in the future.

Painting and drawing are a way to help me understand myself, the issues I deal with and their relationships with the world around them and with other people.

I may use only one medium in my works, but increasingly I’ve been using mixed media to better express the feelings and thoughts that are important to me. I also want to see traces of the process in my works, I think that can provide a better grip. My works are often coarse and grotesque, this is usually a retraction of the theme, as well as the expression of my preference. I am fascinated by people and their relationships with themselves and their urroundings, and my view is generally human first: one’s manifest of life.
