Teokseni ovat tutkielmia tiloista. Minua kiinnostaa ympäristön ja arkkitehtuurin vaikutus. Teoksissani käsittelen ihmisen osallisuutta ympäristöön. Pohdin niiden kokemuksellisen luonteen kautta ihmisen toimintaa, tarpeita ja toiveita ympäröivässä maailmassa. Työskennellessäni etsin kosketuspintaa ihmismieleen.

Etsin rakenteiden, materiaalien, valon, muodon ja rytmin avulla ajatuksilleni sopivaa tilallista vastinetta. Työskentelytapani on intuition johdattamaa tulkintaa.

Minulle on tärkeää moniaistisuuden merkitys taidekokemuksessa. Teen tiloja, jotka paljastavat itsensä vasta osallistuvuuden kokemuksissa. Ne synnyttävät mielellisyyttä kehollisen tiedon kautta. Itselleni osallistuminen tarkoittaa oleilua ilman pakonomaista tarvetta ja kaikkea sitä toimintaa, jota teos kutsuu tapahtuvaksi.

My works are studies of spaces. I'm interested in the effect of the environment and architecture. In my works, I deal with human participating in the environment. Through their experiential nature, I ponder on human activity, needs and desires in the surrounding world. When working, I'm looking for an interface with the human mind.

Through the structures, materials, light, shape and rhythm I look for a suitable spatial equivalent for my thoughts. My way of working is a concrete, intuition-led interpretation under conditions of the place, materials and ideas.

The meaning of multisensoriness in an arts experience is important for me. I make spaces that reveal themselves only in the experiences of participating. The experiences create mindfulness through bodily knowledge. For me, participating means hanging out without compulsion and every action the art invites to take place.
